INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION HONORING JEANETTE DART

RESOLUTION #03-79

WHEREAS, Jeanette "Jennie" Dart has volunteered with the American Red Cross for the past 30 years; and

WHEREAS, twenty thousand units of blood have been collected locally with the assistance of Jeanette; and

WHEREAS, the lives of over one million people have been saved with the blood products she helped collect; and

WHEREAS, the American Red Cross presented Jeanette with the "Circle of Excellence Award" for her dedication and the countless hours she has contributed to blood drives in the community; and

WHEREAS, Jeanette has spent most of her life serving the community through her involvement with her church, various boards and volunteer projects.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor Jeanette Dart for her commitment and devotion toward improving the lives of the citizens of Ingham County and for serving as a positive role model in the community.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board congratulates Jeanette Dart on the receipt of the "Circle of Excellence Award" from the American Red Cross.
